Description
It does help developers that want to 'extend the system' by overriding existing classes.
It makes it easier for maintenance (avoid eg. errors due to case in filenames).
It makes it easier for debugging/tuning (eg. get a list of used classes with timestamps+mem usage from autoloader class).
Other candidates:
- all the extensions bundled with eZP
- the few remaining php files that execute some code beside having a class definition or that have no class def. at all (eg. template.php)
