• Supported (Zeta Components used right now is not)
• Supports Oracle
• Supports Facebook's HHVM (which we might be able to technically support sometime this year)
• Shared DB connection with other Symfony Bundles (Doctrine is default db layer)

Non Goal:

• Use Doctrine ORM (this story is only about using the *D*ata*B*ase *A*bstraction *L*ayer from Doctrine)
