Regarding documentation for configure clustering for eZ Publish 5.0:
in Setting it up for an eZDFSFileHandler, in doc.ez.no, it is said in step 7 that virtual host rules should be configured as

RewriteRule ^/var/([^/]+/)?storage/images-versioned/.* /index_cluster.php [L]
RewriteRule ^/var/([^/]+/)?storage/images/.* /index_cluster.php [L]
RewriteRule ^/var/([^/]+/)?cache/public/(stylesheets|javascript) /index_cluster.php [L]
RewriteRule ^/index_cluster.php - [L]

And in Virtual host setup, in confluence, in the example provided

If using cluster, uncomment the following two lines:
#RewriteRule ^/var/([^/]+/)?storage/images(-versioned)?/.* /index_cluster.php [L]
#RewriteRule ^/var/([^/]+/)?cache/(texttoimage|public)/.* /index_cluster.php [L]

These indications should be harmonized.
