Steps to reproduce:

According to the steps for setup for the issue EZP-23280:
1. follow the steps at:
https://www.linode.com/docs/websites/apache/running-fastcgi-php-fpm-on-debian-7-with-apache
2. install the following packages, though:

sudo apt-get install apache2-mpm-worker libapache2-mod-fastcgi php5-fpm php5-cli php5-curl curl php5-gd php5-imagick imagemagick php5-intl php5-mcrypt php5-mysql php5-xsl

instead of the ones described there;
3. do NOT do the "Configuring PHP Pools (Optional)" part;
4. install desired version;
5. when accessing setup, I get a Error 500 on browser, and an error on apache logs:

[Fri Apr 10 07:27:14 2015] [error] [client 192.168.2.63] Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.
