According to [this blog post by Netgen](http://www.netgenlabs.com/Blog/Using-the-new-eZ-Platform-view-API), location_view rules are deprecated and should be replaced with content_view rules.

Still, from what I understand, location_view rules should be silently converted to content_view rules in the background. This does not seem to be the case when using the matchers `ID\Location` or `ID\Content`, in which case the view provider configuration does not respect the settings. If the same matcher rules are moved to the content_view block, they work as expected.
