The work is intended for Engineers, Doc Writers, and QA, but the results are what count: an accurate, up-to-date, tested tutorial on how to create a fieldtype, compatible with eZ Platform v1.7 LTS (and all other versions that apply).

Acceptance Criteria:

Upon completion of ALL of the other stories under this Epic, do a Quality Assurance pass in which ONLY the steps written down in the final, revised tutorial are followed from start to finish (including the obtainment and implementation of the clean development environment to eliminate any magic that may be caused by steps you may have already done in the past on your development box).
Note ANY failures of the steps, missing information required to complete the process, and anything that is not clear or requires additional work.
