[UI][UX] Content Field validation error is not auto-scrolled to when it occurs on a non-focused tab

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

Background: In 3.x we've introduced tabbed view for Content Type Field categories (by default "Content" and "Metadata").

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Install the "clean" version of eZ Platform by Ibexa.
      2. Create a CT with multiple, not required, fields in the Content category (default), so that the Content Create view (the one to create an actual Content item) does not fit on a page.
      3. Create a required Field in "Metadata" category.
      4. Save CT.
      5. Go to Content -> Content structure and create a Content item of that Type.
      6. Don't fill any fields, but scroll down, so the top fields, and Content & Metadata tabs, are not visible.
      7. Try publishing

      Actual result:

Observe that nothing happens. See that there's a validation error on the top of the page, but it's not scrolled to automatically, giving an impression that "Publish" button doesn't work.

      Expected result

The error message is scrolled to in the same way as for Content Type with just Content category Fields. It can be either a scrolling to the top or focusing on a first tab with an error (TBD by a front-end dev).

Note: The bug occurs both in 3.1.3 and in 3.2.0 so the re-design is not related.
