Content field objects of richtext field type contain "textContent" property:

\eZ\Publish\API\Repository\Values\Content\Field->value->xml->textContent

This property contains the pure text content of xml from repository.

When content contains one or more embedded images the image variation names of these embedded images appear in textContent property.
