Precondition: At least one extra language is added to the system.
Steps:

1. Go to Product catalog/Product Type.
2. Create new product type.
3. Go to translation tab.
4. Add new translation - do not select Base language.
5. Fill Name field and Save.

Result: Validation appears on Field definitions but user cannot see it when he is on the top of the page so it could be confusing.
