ContentListBlock's getTemplateParameters() sets the $contentInfo variable at the beginning, and uses $contentInfo->name as parentName in the variables passed to the view.

But in the foreach of the searchHits the $contentInfo variable is overridden, so the parentName variable's value won't be the name of the selected parent but the name of the last child from the foreach.
