Fatal error: Call to a member function attribute() on a non-object in kernel/classes/ezcontentcachemanager.php on line 552

I try to delete a node which has 3 children. One of the node has no valid object. I am getting the fatal error message.

Line 552:
$objectID = $object->attribute( 'id' );

I can't reproduce it, it happens at one installation.
