Description
Neither http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Technical-manual/4.x/Reference/Configuration-files/site.ini/SiteAccessSettings/MatchOrder Match Order documentation, nor http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Technical-manual/4.x/Concepts-and-basics/Configuration/Access-methods Access methods documentation, nor site.ini itself fully documents the usage of MatchOrder=host_uri and the implications of the order in which HostUriMatchMapItems are defined.
This subject is addressed (and fully explained) in doc/features/4.4/host_uri_siteaccess_matching.txt, where, naturally, users don't tend to search for information. In this documentation we can read:
MatchOrder=host_uri HostUriMatchMapItems[]=example.com;en;example_eng HostUriMatchMapItems[]=example.com;no;example_nor HostUriMatchMapItems[]=example.com;;example_eng HostUriMatchMapItems[]=page2.com;no;page2_nor HostUriMatchMapItems[]=page2.com;en;page2_eng HostUriMatchMapItems[]=page2.com;;page2_nor In the above example we take advantage of having empty url to match just host name. This needs to be after the matches with host and uri, so that they are considered as well
It would be of useful if this information were to be echoed either on site.ini or in doc.ez.no. Maybe even on both?
