Follow up on EZP-25865, outcome depends greatly on how Docker Inc manages to solve IO performance issues with their out of the box offering.

To investigate:

• See where Docker for Mac goes, as of 1.11.1-beta13 it improves the situation, but does not solve it.
• using VMWare Fusion with docker machine
• using nfs shared from gues (sub optimal as you'll need to have your code in guest)
• using rsync to run files from different folder then shared folder (most likely won't work great with file watchers on host like bower, PHPStorm, ..)

If you wait: Bite the bullet and install Linux, using Bootcamp or otherwise, as it's native it will always be best for this
