You can type the value out of the range (-90,90) into fields Latitude and Longitude, and publish item.

Prerequisites:

1. Content type with maplocation field

Steps:

1. Go to * Content* > Content structure > Create
2. Click on field Latitude
3. Type value -99
4. Click on field Longitude
5. Type value 99
6. Click Publish

Actual result:

Content type published with wrong values.

Expected result:

Value range validation appears.
