Version: 3.8.0beta2
PHP Version: 4.4.2
Webserver: Apache 2.0.55
Database: MySQL 4.1
Description
I'm installing ezpublish 3.8.0beta2 from scratch using the Wizard installation method in a linux box with Apache 2.0.55.
At the first step ezp display the "Finetune" button.
Clicking the "Finetune" ezp display the "System Check" page with this issue:
1. AcceptPathInfo disabled or running in CGI mode You need to enable AcceptPathInfo in your Apache config file, if you're using apache 2.x. If you're running apache 1.3, eZ publish will not run in CGI mode. Check the Apache documentation, or enter the following into your httpd.conf file. AcceptPathInfo On Remember to restart your web server afterwards.
I'm running PHP as apache module under Apache 2.x, so I added the configuration suggested in my Apache conf file and restarted it, but ezp still claim the same issue.
The only way for proceed with installation process is checking the "Ignore this test" checkbox.
Maybe the ezp's system check for AcceptPathInfo is wrong?
