Description
Thanks for implementing enhancement #9194: Improvements to ini editor!
It is a good step forward!
There is a few things that should be fixed:
If you edit a setting that is set in a siteaccess, it will switch away from the admin interface and to that siteaccess.
The other thing is that the array settings can be sligtly misleading. When i look at the settings for
Ini setting
INI File: site.ini
Block: RoleSettings
Setting: PolicyOmitList
SiteAccess: ezwebin_site
I get the following
* Default (cannot change) = =user/login =user/logout =user/register =user/activate =user/success =user/forgotpassword =layout =manual =ezinfo =paypal/notify_url * Siteaccess setting No value * ezwebin No value * ezdhtml No value * ezodf = =odf/upload_import =odf/authenticate =odf/upload_export * Override setting (global) No value
From the ezodf extension it starts with a = sign, which looks to me like it is resetting the value of the setting.
This is however not true, as shown in the edit box below.
The first line with the = should only be shown if it actually clears the lower prioritized settings.
Steps to reproduce
- Install 3.7.0rc2 with eng-GB
- Log into admin interface
- Select "Setup" and "Ini-settings"
- Select "site.ini" and the "eng" siteaccess
- Go to [RoleSettings].PolicyOmitList and click the edit icon
The system now shows you the editing in the website interface, not the admin interface.
In addition, the settings are shown as stated above with the =.
