If you use a setup similar to example 3 on
http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_8/reference/configuration_files/site_ini/siteaccessrules/rules , then the root of the site ( / ) is not accessible, although access to content/view is granted.

Either take the value of site.ini.[SiteSettings].IndexPage into account in the accessAllowed function (access.php) or document this behavior (although I think it's a bug in the system).
