• Added product 
• Generated product variants in product 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Log in to storefront.
2. Go to /product-catalog/{product from preconditions} 
3. Expand variants dropdown and verify values.
4. Log in to back office.
5. Go to Product catalog / Products / {product from preconditions}
6. Switch to 'Variants' tab.
7. Remove all available product variants.
8. Repeat steps 1-3

Expected result:

Variants dropdown is not displayed.
